Spring Banquet and Auction

A fun evening for the whole family!  Spring Banquet and Auction is the final fund-raiser for the school year.    It is a time to celebrate and to give God the glory for another successful school year along with raising funds for the school.  The evening consists of a banquet, entertainment, and a silent and verbal auction.   Donated items are solicited from individuals and places of business for the silent and verbal auction.

 

 
Spring Banquet 2012
--- Plans are underway for the big event! ---
This year’s Spring Banquet will be held at the Elks on Thursday, April 19 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Please take note that tickets for the banquet are available at the office for purchase. We suggest you purchase them as early as possible – seating is limited.
 
The cost for each ticket will be as follows, IF purchased by Wednesday, April 11 *:
            Age 13 thru Adults:     $15.00
            Age 4 thru 12:             $ 7.00
            Age 3 & under:            Free
* Each ticket price in all three categories will increase by $3.00 per ticket after Wednesday, April 11.
 
As many of you who have been to the Spring Banquet know, we fill up the place! If you have family or friends you want to sit with, you may reserve a table for eight through the office. All eight tickets must be purchased at one time and tables will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis.

Spring Banquet Donations
We are looking for items for the auction. Do you have a hidden talent that you would be willing to share with our committee? We want to showcase your talent! Consider donating a handcrafted item. All proceeds will benefit the building fund for our new school gym and classrooms.
Spring Banquet Baskets
The students are once again putting together baskets which will be auctioned off at the Spring Banquet. Basket items are due Monday, April 16. Please remember to bring something in for your child’s class. These are the themes for this year:
            Grades Pre – K: Summer Daze
            Grades 1 & 2: Beach & Summertime Fun
            Grades 3 & 4: Camp Survival
            Grades 5 & 6: Reading (Books)
            Grades 7 & 8: Family Night
You can ask your child or classroom teacher for additional information.
Spring Banquet Committee
The committee will meet on Wednesday, April 19 at 8:30 a.m. to finalize banquet details. Please plan to spend a couple hours. They will also meet at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 19 to decorate and set-up for that evening’s banquet. If committee members have any questions, please contact Debbie at 483-4472. Thanks!
